Hot Air Drying

Ideal for non-hygroscopic materials or less critical applications of engineering plastics, Hamilton Hot Air Dryers provide a low cost, reliable way to both pre-heat and dry plastics.

As a machine-mounted unit, the dryers replaces the standard machine hopper. Floor mounted units can be used when headroom is limited. An optional Hamilton loader automatically keeps the drying hopper filled.

The drying hopper is lined with stainless steel and includes a stainless steel screen and air diverter cone. The hopper's bottom section is cast metal. Larger hoppers include a hinged main section for easy cleaning.

If dehumidifying is desired later; the hopper can easily be adapted for use with a floor-mounted, dehumidifying dryer.

A selection of control features is available and custom controls can be supplied.
